Labor Day Weekend

The benefit of waiting a few extra days for Miss Rebecca to arrive was that we brought her home on a Friday right before Nate had a long weekend for Labor Day! It was super nice to have him home the first few days and the girls had a blast spending extra time with their cousins, aunt, uncles and grandparents.

All of the girl cousins....still waiting for baby Hayden to arrive!

 Aunt Jill and Rebecca

Welcome to the family baby Rebecca! :)

The other excitement of Labor Day weekend was that Nate was called to be in the Bishopric in our ward. We got a phone call from a member of the Stake Presidency only a few hours after Rebecca's birth (great timing, huh!?!?!), met with them on Saturday (the day after we brought Rebecca home) and then Rebecca made her first appearance at church at a whopping 4 days old to see daddy sustained and set apart as the 2nd Counselor in the Walnut Hills Ward. A bit crazy and overwhelming, but exciting all at the same time. Anybody want a few extra kids during Sacrament meeting???
